Krama's Jerked Beef (ABN 40 959 036 231) is a small family business in Uleybury, South Australia. We only collect what we need to get jerky to your door and to send the newsletter you signed up for. This page explains what that is and who else handles it.
What we collect
- When you order: your name, email, phone (if you give it), delivery address, and what you picked (bundle and flavour split, or merch colour and size).
- When you join the newsletter: your first name and email address.
- When you email, call or message us: whatever you choose to tell us.
We never see or store your card details. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe.
Who else handles it
- Stripe processes payments and subscriptions, and sends your receipt. See Stripe's privacy policy.
- Australia Post receives your name and delivery address so it can deliver your parcel.
- MailerLite stores newsletter sign-ups (and the merch reservations taken in October 2026), and sends our emails. See MailerLite's privacy policy.
- Netlify hosts this website and keeps a backup copy of newsletter sign-ups. Like any web host it keeps standard server logs.
We don't sell, rent or swap your details with anyone, ever.
Cookies and tracking
This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies, which is why there's no cookie banner. If we switch on visitor statistics, we'll use a cookie-free tool that counts visits without identifying you. Stripe's own checkout pages may use cookies to process payments securely and prevent fraud; that's covered by Stripe's policy.
How we use it
- To pack, post and support your order or subscription.
- To send the newsletter, if you signed up. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To reply when you get in touch.
Keeping it safe
Your details sit with the services above, which use industry-standard security. We keep order records as long as tax law requires, and newsletter details until you unsubscribe.
Seeing or changing your details
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to fix it, or ask us to delete it (unless we have to keep it for tax). Email kramasjb@gmail.com. If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
